MDM Services Latest ATC Update

MDM Services has been closely monitoring a Meurs Temperature Volume Compensation installation at Exhall Service Station a Texaco Dealer site in Coventry, Exhall has been trialling the system on a twin hose diesel pump since May 2009.

The Meurs Automatic Temperature Compensation system was retrofitted into a Gilbarco twin hose pump. Data was recently collected on the 12th February. The twin hose diesel pump has positively gained a total of 349 litres. Owner of Exhall Service Station Nemal Shanmuganathan told Jonathan Coombes he was delighted our data confirms the viability of installing TVC; During the summer months the system shows a small negative gain as soon as the ambient temperature dropped the benefits of Temperature Volume Compensation are clearly visible. These figures are based on total fuel sales of 283,011, whilst the pump trialling our system isn’t a high volume pump, our figures clearly confirm the financial benefit of TVC to the operators from small to high volume sites.

The Meurs TVC system has National Weights & Measures approval.
